Hi, I’m Cheyenne Harding, a freelance travel writer and travel planning professional based in the Greater Seattle area. I hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Digital Communication Arts from Oregon State University, where I built a strong foundation in storytelling, digital media, and creative communication.
My career bridges two passions, travel writing and travel planning. For several years, I’ve worked in the travel industry with experience in both business and luxury travel. I have hands-on experience with global distribution systems, including Sabre, Travelport, and NDC, which has given me valuable insight into how the travel world operates behind the scenes. This experience allows me to approach my writing with a deeper understanding of logistics, trends, and the traveler’s journey from inspiration to itinerary.
Travel writing became my creative outlet because I love sharing stories, uncovering hidden gems, and helping others explore the world with confidence and curiosity. My goal is to craft content that inspires adventure while offering practical insight—whether readers are discovering a new destination or planning their next big trip.
Since 2020, I’ve been a contributing writer for Northwest Travel and Life and Meeting News Northwest, along with freelancing for a range of clients in the travel and lifestyle space.
Main Focus Areas:
Hidden Gems
Animal Encounters
Beach Adventures
Accessible & Sustainable Travel
While these are my main focus areas, I’m always open to exploring new story angles that celebrate the wonder, connection, and creativity of travel.
